It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Trevor Telling who passed away on Wed 17th Jan. Trevor was a great club and match player and basically ran the badminton club single handed for years as club secretary. He also, over the years played football, cricket, golf as well as his beloved badminton. He was a natural sports person. He kept the club at or near the top of the Gloucestershire badminton leagues. All our members and visitors are reaping the benefits of his input and influence in the Club we enjoy today. He worked all his life for Post Office Telephones which later became BT for which I personally worked with him for 20 odd years in Cirencester Telephone Exchange and he was always professional in his approach to problems and resolutions, and I considered him a friend. On retiring as club secretary he moved to Porlock in Somerset with his wife Pam, our thoughts go out to the family at this difficult time. Written by Peter Chambers CBC current secretary. .
